TESTING CENTRES

You can write the Canadian Coast Guard Operator Proficiency Exam at any one of more than 150 freecourse.ca testing centres across Canada. Most of our testing centres are conveniently located, open on weekdays and weekends, and possess one or more quiet training rooms where you can write your exam. To select a testing centre near you, first click on a province or territory from the list below:

You can write the exam at any time of the year. Please call ahead to make an appointment with the testing centre (more info).

You should bring photo identification with you when you go to write the exam. The $25 testing fee includes the exam, temporary card, and the official Coast Guard Operator card.
